Welcome to Footsteps for Honey Fundraising Site
The Footsteps for Honey appeal is in association with Caudwell Children to help Honey walk
Honey is a local 5 year old living in Burnham-on-Crouch who suffers from Cerebral Palsy. The Footsteps for Honey appeal has been set up in association with Caudwell Children to raise money to allow Honey to attend the USA to undergo Selective Dorsal Rhizotomay (SDR) so that she can walk un-aided.
Honey's Story
I have been accepted for pioneering SDR Surgery at The St Louis Children's Hospital Missouri which is only currently available within the USA. This surgery carried out by DR Park has the potential to change my life forever as it will remove the stiffness(Spasticity) and pain within my muscles enabling me to walk independently for the first time in my life hopefully without any aids!
